And this isn’t limited to your face, exfoliating from head to toe is important before applying any tanning product or waxing to achieve the best results. The experts advise exfoliating and moisturising your skin regularly after shaving or waxing to help reduce the occurrence of ingrown hairs. We recommend exfoliating once a month as your skin renews itself every 30 days. If you leave the old cells on the surface of your skin and they build up over time, they can lead to a flat, dull appearance and blemishes.
